How we work
Five clear steps from your first conversation to the day we hand over your finished project.
-
Consultation
We start by listening. We want to understand what you want to build or change, and what you hope to achieve.
What we do
- Discuss your plans, priorities and budget
- Review the site or property
- Explain what approvals your project may need
What you do
- Send us an enquiry through the quote form
- Share ideas, photos or drawings you already have
- Tell us your preferred timing
You receive: honest advice on what is possible and the best way to approach it.
-
Quotation
Once we understand your project, we prepare a clear written quotation, so you know what is included before you decide.
What we do
- Define the scope of the works
- Price the project in writing
- Note anything that is excluded or may change the price
What you do
- Read the quotation and ask questions
- Tell us if you want anything adjusted
- Decide whether to go ahead, with no pressure
You receive: a written quotation setting out the scope and the price.
-
Contract
If you are happy with the quotation, we agree a contract before any construction begins.
What we do
- Set out the scope, price and payment milestones
- Agree the programme of works
- Explain our terms and cancellation provisions
What you do
- Review the contract carefully
- Take advice if you wish
- Sign to confirm what has been agreed
You receive: a written contract, so everyone knows what has been agreed.
-
Construction
We organise and manage the works to the agreed plan, and keep you updated as the project moves forward.
What we do
- Manage the site, trades and suppliers
- Carry out the works to the agreed scope
- Update you regularly on progress
What you do
- Stay in touch with your point of contact
- Confirm any decisions we ask you to make
- Pay invoices for agreed milestones
You receive: regular updates and invoices that match the milestones in your contract.
-
Handover
When the work is finished, we go through it with you before we hand it over.
What we do
- Complete final checks of the finished work
- Walk through the project with you
- Put right any agreed points
What you do
- Inspect the work and raise any concerns
- Confirm you are happy with the result
- Settle the final invoice
You receive: your completed project, handed over once you are satisfied with it.
Getting ready to enquire
You do not need everything below to get in touch. The more you can tell us, the more accurate and useful our first conversation will be.
- The address or location of the project
- A short description of the work you want done
- Any photos, sketches or drawings you have
- Your rough budget and preferred timing
- The best way and time to contact you

Common questions
Does requesting a quote commit me to anything?
No. An enquiry or quotation carries no obligation. Work only begins after you have agreed and signed a contract with us.
What happens if I want to change something during the build?
Tell us as early as you can. We will explain how the change affects the price and timing, and we agree it with you in writing before we carry it out.
When do I pay?
You pay against invoices for the agreed contract and its milestones, as set out in your contract. We do not ask you to pay anything through this website.
Can I cancel?
Our cancellation provisions are set out in our terms and in your contract. You can read them on our Contact & Legal page.
